Classical music has a strong relationship with television, either through big screen films, TV adverts or even trailers for programmes.
Screen Grab is going to explore that relationship through famous music for film but also through subtle use of background music in documentaries. Often this music is wildly overused but there are instances where directors are sensitive and inspired. Early explorations will include Master and Commander, The Shining and will look at Wes Anderson‘s fascination with the music of Benjamin Britten.
As with all these features, if there is a particular composer, film or director you would like covered, get in touch!
